Tri-City Storm News Release
Kearney, Neb. - Tri-City Storm forward Alex Limoges established the Storm's record for consecutive games with a goal, scoring for the sixth straight contest Saturday at Fargo. The Cornell commit surpassed five Storm players that had scored in five straight games: Bill Thomas (2002-03), Rastislav Spirko (2003-04), Jordan Willert (2007-08), Trevor Mingoia (2012-13) and Carson Meyer (2015-16).
One of three Assistant Captains on Tri-City, Limoges leads the team with seven goals and 13 points. Both marks are tied for fourth in the USHL. Limoges has tallied in every game since October 7 vs. Green Bay and has points in seven straight games. Both are the longest active streaks in the league.
In eight October games, Limoges scored seven goals, second-most in the league, and 11 points, tied for second-best. Limoges has three multi-point games in the last four contests and Tri-City has recorded points in all four games. The Storm hosts the Omaha Lancers on Friday, November 4 at 7:05 p.m. for Social Media Night, presented by the Nebraska Lottery. Tri-City will have a special Snapchat Geotag during the game and will be doing "Tweet Your Seat" giveaways presented by Nebraska Lottery. Get Storm Tickets
