Vero Beach Devil Rays News Release
(Viera, FL) - Tropical Storm Alberto continued to damper Florida State League spirits by raining out Tuesday's doubleheader between the Vero Beach Dodgers and Brevard County Manatees. The games will not be made up as the two teams do not play each other again in the 1st Half.
The Dodgers did make a roster move today. 3B Travis Denker was transferred to Columbus. Taking his spot is OF Eloy Gutierrez, who joins the team from Extended Spring Training. Last year for the GCL Dodgers Gutierrez batted .269 in 41 games.
