Albany FireWolves Trade Greg Downing to Toronto Rock

ALBANY, NY - The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), have traded defender Greg Downing to the Toronto Rock in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2023 Entry Draft.

Downing, a 14-year veteran, has been with the organization since 2019 when he joined the New England Black Wolves. With the FireWolves, Downing played in 23 regular season games and complied 112 loose ball recoveries, 12 total points, and caused 24 turnovers. Through nine games this season, Downing ranked fourth on the FireWolves with three blocked shots, and fifth with six caused turnovers.
