Albany Devils News Release
A Balanced Diet: Of the 23 skaters to play at least one game for the Albany Devils this season, 19 have registered a point. Despite having the best record in the AHL, none of the Devils are near the top of the scoring leaderboard. Albany has used a balanced attack and scoring from all four lines en route to their 5-0-0-0 start.
"Any good team at any level is going to have a lot of depth," said Devils' captain Rod Pelley. "It's good for the team moral too. Everyone can chip in and feel a part of it and that's a credit to all the guys."

Tuesday's Transactions: Ken Appleby and Brandon Baddock received a stick tap from their Devils teammates during Tuesday's practice at Knickerbacker Ice Arena. The duo skated with the team for 30 minutes and then left for Glens Falls, NY. Both players were reassigned to the Adirondack Thunder (ECHL), who face the Elmira Jackals at 7 pm.
"Ken has done everything that we've asked," said Head Coach Rick Kowalsky. "He did a great job on Friday. We just made the decision that we can't go with three goalies too much longer. We need to get him games. We want this to remain a healthy competition in the sense that he could be back sooner rather than later. As far as Baddock, the plan was to get him in this weekend. With the addition of Miles Wood, we just didn't have room. We are looking at week three of the season and he hasn't played a game yet. It's important for him to go play and the fact that he's 45 minutes away, we can easily get him back here."

Hits of the 1980s will be played throughout the game and special promotional timeouts and intermission activities will include 80's tie-ins. Happy Hour with $4 drafts will be between 6 pm and the end of the first period
