Akron RubberDucks News Release
AKRON --The Akron Aeros will launch the new and improved AkronAeros.com on Thursday, March 29, 2007 in anticipation of another great year down at Canal Park. The site, which had not had a redesign in a few years, has been updated with new features that will provide a great online experience for fans of the Aeros.
Fans will still be able to access all the Aeros statistics, breaking news and player information, along with live scoring updates from all regular-season and playoff games. New to the site this season will be special links that will enhance the game day experience such as the improved photo gallery, that will identify certain fans from each game as the "Fans of the Game".
Fans attending any game can check the website after the game to see if they were caught by our cameras. People can also access all of the information about our promotions online and stay updated on any changes to the schedule and special events.
"The site will continue to grow throughout the season," Kevin Alcox, Director of Public Relations said. "We have only taken the first step to make AkronAeros.com the most visited a fun minor league baseball web site in the nation."
