
Akron Aeros Announce Front Office Additions and Updates

AKRON, OH - The Akron Aeros announced new additions and updates to its front office staff today.
Recent additions to the staff include: Dan Chesser (Box Office Manager), Adam Liberman (Director of Public and Media Relations), Dee Shilling (Ticket Sales Account Executive), and Christina Shisler (Director of Promotions).
New owner and chief executive officer Ken Babby and new general manager Jim Pfander officially joined the team in October.
Chesser, a Cleveland native and University of West Virginia graduate, returns to the Aeros where he was a sales associate in 2011, and he'll manage the box office and work with the ticket sales department.
Liberman is an Akron native who spent 10 seasons with the Atlanta Braves' media relations department and two years running the public relations for All American Games, the parent company of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He returns to the Aeros' media relations department where he interned during the inaugural 1997 season.
Shilling was with the Aeros in 2012 as a member of the Aeros' Associate Program before moving into her new role as ticket sales account executive. She is a University of Akron graduate from Youngstown who has also worked with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.
Shisler joins the Aeros after more than two seasons as the director of community relations and promotions with the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Prior to that, she was with the Daytona Cubs for two years. Shisler was also a former Aeros' media relations intern and she is a Stow native who graduated from Ohio State.
Returning members of the Aeros' front office include: Courtney Campbell (Director of Merchandise); Mitch Cromes (Group Sales Representative); Shad Gross (Director of Player Facilities); Jeremy Heit (Group Sales Representative); Adam Horner (Director of Ballpark Operations); Emily Ray (Office Manager/Executive Assistant to Ken Babby); Sierra Sawtelle (Suites, Picnics and Community Relations Coordinator); Chris Thomas (Director of Creative Services); Chris Walsh (Head Groundskeeper); Dave Wilson (Director of Baseball Information).

The Aeros are the Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. In the just-completed 2012 season, the Aeros had the best regular-season record in all of Double-A baseball and won the Eastern League Championship for the fourth time in team history. The team begins its 17th season in Akron on April 4, 2013, with a 6:05 pm game against the Binghamton Mets at Canal Park.
