Ak-Sar-Ben Knights Recall Lynch From Las Vegas

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights announced today that they have recalled right wing Darren Lynch from the Las Vegas Wranglers, their affiliate in the ECHL. Lynch will join the team in time for its game against the San Antonio Rampage on Saturday, October 15th.

Lynch begins his second pro season after breaking in with the Wranglers in 2004-05. He had 15 goals and 14 assists for 29 points in 54 games. He also led the team with a plus-10. Prior to turning pro, he played in 291 WHL games with Vancouver and Lethbridge earning 88 goals and 130 assists for 218 points. Lynch scored two goals and had an assist in two pre-season games for the Knights this year.

The Knights are in the middle of a four-game home stand. Following Saturday's game, the Knights host the Houston Aeros on Tuesday, October 18th and Thursday, October 18th at 7:00 p .m.

Tickets for all of the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights' regular season home games are on sale now at the Civic Auditorium box office weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On Saturday, the box office will be open from noon through the opening face off.
