
AirHogs Clip the Canaries in Opening Game

Grand Prairie AirHogs News Release
Sioux Falls- The Grand Prairie AirHogs combined for 14 hits in the opening game against the Sioux City Canaries and won 6-4 Tuesday night at Sioux Falls Stadium. Andres Rodriguez went 3-for-4 in the game including hitting his sixth home run of the season. He scored another two runs in the game as well accounting for half of the AirHogs runs. Juan Richardson, Frazier Hall, and Kenny Held each went 2-for-4 and each scored a run making up the rest of the runs for Grand Prairie. Hall also had two RBI's and Held had one.
Derek Blacksher got the win for the Airhogs Tuesday. Blacksher (3-4) went six innings giving up three runs but struck out four batters. Justin Dowdy and Patrick Mincey each pitched a perfect inning. Mincey got his seventh save of the season.
The AirHogs and Canaries will be back at Sioux Falls Stadium Wednesday night at 7:05 P.M.
