Idaho Steelheads News Release
(Boise, ID) - High-scoring forward Mark Derlago has been returned to the Idaho Steelheads by the AHL's Providence Bruins and defenseman Trevor Ludwig has been recalled from Idaho by the AHL's Texas Stars.
Derlago was loaned to Providence and signed a player tryout agreement (PTO) with the AHL club on November 4. He skated in five games for the P-Bruins, netting one goal along the way. He comes back to Idaho with an ECHL line of 10 points (6 goals, 4 assists) in eight games. Despite missing six games while he was in the AHL, Derlago is still second on the team in goals. In eleven games with the Steelheads, the 24-year-old Ludwig had six points (2 goals, 4 assists) and a plus/minus rating of plus-8. He also appeared in 35 games with the Steelheads last season, notching two goals and eight assists.
