On Wednesday night, Aleksander Suglobov and Zach Parise had four points each in Albany's 5-4 shootout loss to Providence... On Thursday evening, Patrick DesRochers made 24 saves in San Antonio's 5-0 win over Utah.

LOOKING AHEAD:

Manitoba and Edmonton clash for two games at Rexall Place this weekend, Friday night and Sunday afternoon... The Moose enter the weekend in first place in the North Division, with three teams – including the Road Runners – just one point behind... Peter Sarno is Manitoba's leading scorer on the year with 28 points, including five goals and 15 assists in just 12 road games... Edmonton's Tony Salmelainen ranks fourth in the AHL with his plus-16 rating... Alex Auld is 5-1-1 in his last seven appearances in net for Manitoba, while former Moose Tyler Moss is 10-2-2 with three shutouts for the Road Runners.

Less than a week after ending Manchester's 13-game winning streak, Hartford gets another crack at the Monarchs on Saturday night, in a game to be televised live on Fox Sports Net New England, the MSG Network and Leafs TV (check cable/satellite listings for channels)... The Wolf Pack enter the weekend 5-0-0-1 with 22 goals for and four shutouts in their previous six games; they were 1-5-1-1 with 12 goals and one shutout in eight games before that... The Monarchs come into their three-game weekend having earned a point in 21 of 22 games this season (20-1-1-0), scoring at least five goals in a game 13 times while pitching eight shutouts... Manchester's Brad Smyth, who has missed the last three games due to injury, is the Wolf Pack's all-time franchise leader in goals (177) and points (343).

Milwaukee heads east for three games this weekend, visitng Rochester on Friday, Syracuse on Saturday and Philadelphia on Sunday... The Admirals have just one regulation loss in 12 road games this season (8-1-2-1), and goaltender Brian Finley owns a 1.46 GAA and .946 save percentage in eight appearances away from the Bradley Center... Since a 5-2 loss to Houston on Nov. 13, Simon Gamache and Vern Fiddler have combined to put up 28 points (9g, 19a) in nine contests... The Amerks enter Friday's game on a six-game points streak (5-0-0-1).

BY THE NUMBERS:

5 – Overtime wins through 25 games for the Binghamton Senators this season... Antoine Vermette (2), Jason Spezza, Denis Hamel and Christoph Schubert have the OT winners... The AHL single-season record is 11, set by Chicago in 2002-03.
