AHL announces suspension

November 15, 2008 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release


SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Worcester Sharks right wing Dan DaSilva has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions in a game at Providence on Nov. 14.

DaSilva was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension under AHL Rule 47.21.

DaSilva will miss Worcester's game tonight (Nov. 15) vs. Springfield.
