Los Angeles Aftershock News Release
Los Angeles, CA. Head Basketball Coach and GM Andre Smith of the ABA Los Angeles Aftershock announced the signing of Darwin 'DC' Carter for the 2005-2006 season. Carter, a 6'1" guard out of Angelo State and Tennessee State, is a veteran of international and ABA play, joins the ABA Summer Pro League Champion Aftershock and should provide great long range shooting and exceptional defense and leadership.
Carter, who averaged 19ppg, 4apg and 4spg with the ABA Stars in LA a year ago, has also just returned from playing in Portugal but has three seasons of international play in China where he also averaged almost 19 points a game. Belize born, Carter drive and desire to win will make the LA team difficult to beat.
The Aftershock will announce more signings shortly. For more information, visit www.laaftershock.com or call 714 470 1122 or visit www.abalive.com. -
