Quad City Steamwheelers News Release

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Chicago Rush fullback/ linebacker Bob McMillen will look to make AFL history this Sunday against the Orlando Predators on the AFL on NBC.

In his tenth AFL season, McMillen needs just 30 more rushing yards to become the fifth player in AFL history to rush for 1,000 career yards. Another milestone McMillen is searching for is 50 career touchdowns. He needs one touchdown to become the sixth player in history to rush for 50 career touchdowns.

McMillen and the Rush offense rank first inside the ten-yard line scoring 27 touchdowns in their 29 possessions. Another impressive statistic for the Rush offense is the fact that quarterback Raymond Philyaw has not thrown an interception all season. Philyaw has completed 85 passes on 133 attempts for 1069 yards and 15 touchdowns.

The Orlando Predators bring their 2-3 record into Chicago trying to bounce back from a Week 6 loss to the Georgia Force. With an interception last week, Predators defensive specialist Kenny McEntyre brought his career regular season total to 49. McEntyre is within one interception of tying Durwood Roquemore for first place on the all-time AFL list for career interceptions.

This non-conference match up can be seen at 11 a.m. (CT) this Sunday on NBC seen locally on KWQC-TV6. The other game on NBC outside of the Quad City-market is between the Colorado Crush and the Philadelphia Soul.

The Rush/Predators game will be shown on the JumboTron at the Steamwheelers Pick-A-Seat Open House, this Sunday at The MARK of the Quad Cities. The Open House begins at noon.

Be sure to tune into high scoring, heart stopping action of the Arena Football every Sunday on the AFL on NBC.
