af2's Carolina Rhinos Announce Roster Changes

GREENVILLE, SC – The League office of arenafootball2 and the Carolina Rhinos have announced several changes to the team’s training camp roster. Offensive/defensive lineman Chad Ames, defensive specialist Harry Brunson, fullback/linebacker Quentin Thompson and kicker Paul Cyzerniak have been released. Offensive Specialist Nick Johnson and fullback/linebacker George Jordan have been placed on injured reserve. Fullback/linebacker Rasheed Culler, wide receiver/linebacker Jermaine Derricott and wide receiver/defensive back Mal Lawyer have been added to the training camp roster.

The Rhinos will begin the second week of training camp at Carolina High School tonight at 6:30 p.m. The schedule for the second week of training camp is as follows:
·Monday March 25th 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. full practice
·Tuesday March 26th 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. full practice
·Wednesday March 27th 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. full practice
·Thursday March 28th 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. full practice
·Friday March 29th 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. workout in helmets and shorts

All Rhinos practices are open to the public free of charge and members of the media are urged to attend.

The Rhinos will open the 2002 season, their third in af2 and first under new head coach Rod Miller, Saturday April 6th on the road versus the Macon Knights. They will play their first home game of the season Friday April 19th at 7:30 p.m. when they host Macon.
