Aeros Release Expanded 2012 Fireworks Dates

AKRON, OH - The Akron Aeros today announced their fireworks schedule for the upcoming 2012 season. In addition to the popular Friday Night Fireworks, the Aeros are now offering Saturday Night Fireworks following home games throughout the months of June, July and August. The Aeros have also scheduled postgame Fireworks for Opening Night (Thursday, April 12) and the Independence Day Celebration (Tuesday, July 3). The Aeros will be featuring a total of 20 fireworks shows throughout the 2012 season.
"We are excited to be able to offer our fans more fireworks shows in 2012, said JIM PFANDER, Aeros Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Over the past few seasons, our fireworks displays have become a staple in the Akron community and we look forward to entertain our fans on both Friday and Saturday nights."
The Aeros have also announced the addition of two brand new ticket packages providing fans some great options to take full advantage of the expanded fireworks schedule. The Aeros pride themselves in offering affordable family entertainment and the fireworks packages are no exception. Each ticket package includes a ticket to 11 of the games with scheduled fireworks with the option to keep the same seat location for each of the games. The Fireworks Ticket Packages start at just $80 and they make for a great holiday gift idea. Fans are encouraged to contact the Akron Aeros Ticketing Department for more information on these great packages.
