Aeros host Hamilton and Hockey Day in Houston today

HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros host the Hamilton Bulldogs today at 4:05 p.m. at Toyota Center as part of the inaugural "Hockey Day in Houston." Houston (22-15-2-2) currently sits in fifth place in the West Division with 48 points and the host the defending Calder Cup Champion Hamilton Bulldogs (17-17-1-5) who are currently in fifth place in the North Division.

The Aeros, in conjunction with the Interscholastic Hockey League (ISHL) will be hosting "Hockey Day in Houston" all day at the Toyota Center. The eight hours of hockey entertainment begins at 10:30 a.m. with two games of the Sixth Annual ISHL Seniors Games. During the intermissions of the Aeros' game, the seniors will have puck demonstration demos and immediately following the game will be the ISHL Skills Competition. Click here for more information.

Today's game is also a Houston Aeros' Family Game in which special ticketing packages start at just $67. SERGE PAYER INTERVIEWS WITH FOX 26

Houston Aeros center Serge Payer will be on the FOX-26 10 p.m. news tonight in an interview with Keith Calkins. Serge and Keith discuss how the Aeros center overcame Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) and made it all the way back playing the sport he loves. Serge has started a foundation for research and treatment of GBS. After airing the interview will be available at both the Aeros and the FOX 26 websites.
