Janesville Jets News Release
The North American Hockey League (NAHL) yesterday announced Janesville Jets forward Ryan Dau and defenseman Alec Vanko as Honorable Mention North Divisional Stars of the Week for the week ending December 2, 2012.
Dau paid immediate dividends in his first series for the Jets since being acquired in a trade with the Wichita Falls Wildcats. A former Wisconsin All-State forward and Air Force Academy recruit, Dau scored two goals and had an assist in the Jets 5 - 0 victory over the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings on Saturday, December 1st. The Hudson, WI native was also named the number one star for that game.

In the same Saturday night Jets victory Dau starred in, Vanko had three assists and was named the third star of the game. The 6' 2" defenseman from Oregon, WI, has 4 total points in 5 games for the Jets this season.
