Adriano Dos Santos Named to All-MASL First Team and Defender of the Year Shortlist

(Baltimore, MD) The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the All-MASL First Team and nominees for the major awards. Voting was available to all MASL players, staff, head coaches, and general managers. Adriano Dos Santos was selected to the All-MASL First Team, as well as one of three players to be nominated for Defender of the Year.

Adriano Dos Santos posted a career high in goals scored (13) this season, and tallied the most goals plus assists (23) in his career. His points tally exceeded each of the last five seasons dating back to his time playing in the MISL. This season, he tallied his 75th career goal while also making his 150th career appearance for the Blast. He has made the most career appearances among all active Blast players (162). This is Dos Santos' first selection to the All-MASL First Team as well as his third All-MASL honor in his career. He is looking to take home the MASL Defender of the Year honor for the first time in his career. The Major Award winners will be announced in a league press conference tomorrow Saturday May 4th.
