April 15, 2004 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee Admirals' Executive Vice President/General Manager Phil Wittliff announced today that the team will open the 2004 Calder Cup Playoffs on Wednesday, April 21 at 7 pm in their first round, best-of-seven series. The team will then play game two of the Western Division semi-final series on Friday, April 23 at 7 pm.
The Admirals, who captured the AHL regular season points title, will take to the road for games three through five, and, if necessary, would return home on Friday, April 30 at 7 pm for game six. Should the series be tied at three games each, a seventh game would be held at the Bradley Center on either Saturday, May 1 or Sunday, May 2.
Milwaukee's opponent for the first round will either be the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks or the Houston Aeros. Those two teams are currently involved in a best-of-three qualifying series to determine the Admirals' opponent. Regardless of the adversary the game dates will be the same.
Fans can purchase tickets by calling 414-276-4545, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or at the Bradley Center box office. By league rule, the price of the tickets will increase by one dollar over the regular season price and cost $16 for adults and $11 for kids 14 and under. Fans can still purchase a 16-game playoff pack through the Admirals' ticket office by calling 414-227-0550 or by stopping by the Admirals' office.
