Norfolk Admirals News Release


Town Hall Meeting Tonight: at Expo Hall in Norfolk Scope from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. The Admirals' second annual Town Hall Meeting will give fans the opportunity to ask questions about the team of a panel including owners Mark Garcea and Page Johnson, Director of Operations Todd McKeating, General Manager Al MacIsaac, Head Coach Trent Yawney and Norfolk's Director of Civic Facilities John Rhamstine.

Norfolk LCD Meeting: Thursday, August 14 at the MacArthur War Memorial in Norfolk. Community Relations Manager Millie Lomax will attend this meeting, which begins at 9:00 a.m.

Baby Fest: Saturday, August 16 - Sunday, August 17 at Military Circle Mall in Norfolk. The Admirals will have an interactive display and chances to win prizes at their table, plus, Hat Trick and Salty will make special appearances. Baby Fest is from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. each day.

Hockey Demonstration: Thursday, August 28 at Quality Time Child Care in Smithfield. In conjunction with their Summer Sports Program, Admirals staff members Millie Lomax and Ryan Williams will appear at the center to discuss hockey and demonstrate how the game is played, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Portsmouth City Schools Report Day: Thursday, August 28. Mascot Salty will make an appearance, and the Admirals will have a display table when the teachers report.

Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon: Sunday, August 31 in Virginia Beach. The Admirals will once again be manning a water station for this race to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
