Norfolk Admirals News Release
NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals and Charlotte Checkers announced today that the clubs have agreed to reschedule one of their eight regular-season meetings in 2014-15. The series' first matchup in Charlotte on November 10 is now slotted for a 7 p.m. Eastern Time start on December 2, 2014.
It now becomes the third of eight inter-conference games between the Admirals and Checkers instead of the series-opener. The teams will split the first two contests on November 18 and 26 between Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte and Scope Arena in downtown Norfolk. They will square off December 2 in North Carolina and December 10, a Wednesday, in Hampton Roads to wrap up the 2014 portion of the season series.
Norfolk and Charlotte will also play two preseason games that are scheduled for Friday, October 3 in Charlotte at 11 a.m. and one the following night in Norfolk at 7:15 p.m.
Hockey returns to the Norfolk Scope Arena on Saturday, October 11, when the Admirals open the 2014-15 regular season. The Admirals are offering an "Opening Night Ticket Package" for a limited time that includes two Red Level tickets to opening night, two Red Level vouchers for any regular season home game in 2014-15, a souvenir program, and the choice between an Admirals' shot glass or cow bell.
