
Additional Seats Released for Toronto FC CONCACAF Champions League Match

Toronto FC announced Friday that an additional 1,000 tickets have been released for sale for its CONCACAF Champions League Quarter-Final match against the LA Galaxy at Rogers Centre. The new seats are located in the 200 Level at the North End of the Rogers Centre and are priced at $25.00. The lower bowl has sold out, however tickets as low as $12 remain in the upper bowl. As of Friday morning ticket sales had passed 35,000, with the total soccer capacity for the match being 45,000.
The game will be the only time Toronto FC will host David Beckham, Landon Donovan and the MLS Champion LA Galaxy this season, as the two teams are not scheduled to meet at BMO Field during the MLS regular season. Following the first leg of CONCACAF Champions League Quarter-Finals game at the Rogers Centre on Wednesday, March 7, Toronto will travel to Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 14 for the return leg. The match will mark the first time the Major League Soccer team plays a home game outside of BMO Field and will set a new Toronto FC home attendance record. BMO Field seats 21,140 and Toronto FC's largest home crowd stands at 22,453, set April 13, 2011 vs. LA Galaxy.
Ticket pricing begins at $29 for lower bowl seating and $12 for upper bowl seating. More than 70% of the seats at Rogers Centre are priced under $30 for the match. Tickets can be purchased online at www.torontofc.ca or via telephone through Ticketmaster at 1-855-985-4625.
