This is the only place that you can get the closet, most hard-hitting photos of Cleveland's coolest team on ice. In The Community
Although the Barons don't have a weeknight game next week, they will be kept extremely busy. It is the perfect time for fans to get to know their favorite Barons players.
The fun begins on Wednesday, February 23rd, when the Barons will host the fourth and final National City Breakaway with the Barons courtesy of SoftRock WDOK 102.1-FM and Marc's from 6:30-8:30pm at Arctic Freeze in Chagrin Falls. Fans are welcomed to see how the professional practice as the Barons will run drills for the first hour of the event. Towards the end of practice, a lucky fan will have the opportunity to practice with the Barons as part of the SoftRock WDOK One-On-One with the Barons. At the conclusion of practice, fans can join the team in a post-practice skate courtesy of Marc's.
Following the National City Breakaway with the Barons, Marcel Goc, Christian Ehrhoff, Josh Gorges, and Ryane Clowe will head over to Quaker Steak & Lube to meet and mingle with fans. Fans will have the chance to win prizes courtesy of the Barons and Labatt Blue. Quaker Steak & Lube is located on 5935 Canal Road in Valley View.
On Thursday, February 24th, fans can try their hand at golfing against the Barons at Bunker's Bar and Grill from 6-9pm. There will be several ways to compete against Marcel Goc, Christian Ehrhoff, Shane Joseph, and Matt Carkner in golf-related games. Bunker's Bar and Grill is located above the Bunker Hill Golf Course Pro Shop on 3060 Pearl Road in Medina. Labatt Blue and the Barons will again have spectacular prizes available.
CLOWE'S LINE
The line of Ryane Clowe, Marcel Goc, and Jason Jaffray combined to register 10 of a possible 12 points on Thursday's game against Edmonton. Clowe led the way with four points, while Goc and Jaffray each posted matching one goal, two assists performances. Over the last nine games, at least one of the three players have contributed on 18 of the Barons 21 regulation goals (note: the Barons were credited with one shootout goal during that span).
