
Aces Sign Rookie Goaltender Aaron Crandall

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The Alaska Aces, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League, announced today that the team has signed rookie goaltender Aaron Crandall.
Crandall, 23, joins the Aces for the start of their ten-game road trip, tonight at 6:05 p.m. (KFQD) against the Las Vegas Wranglers.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound netminder appeared in net for a career-high 31 games this season for the University of Minnesota Duluth (NCAA) and racked up a 14-12-3 record, career best 2.76 goals-against-average and a .900 save percentage.
He was a member of UMD's squad that captured the national championship when he was a 2010-11 freshman, going 10-3-1 with a 2.79 goals-against-average in 16 games.
Crandall went 30-23-6 with a 2.83 goals-against-average and five career shutouts in 65 games for the Bulldogs from 2010-14.
