
Aces Sign Former South Carolina Guard Brea Beal to Training Camp Contract

LAS VEGAS - Las Vegas Aces General Manager Natalie Williams announced today that the team has signed former South Carolina guard Brea Beal to a training camp contract.
Originally from Rock Island, Illinois, Beal was selected by the Minnesota Lynx in the second round (No. 24) of the 2023 WNBA Draft, but was waived prior to the start of the season.
A 2023 Associated Press All-America honorable mention, Beal was a 2023 SEC All-Defensive Team selection and a four-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll. She averaged 6.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists over her four-year career.
In her four years at South Carolina, the Gamecocks posted an overall record of 129-9 (.935), captured the 2022 NCAA crown, competed in the 2021 and 2023 NCAA Final Fours, earned three regular season SEC championships and three SEC Tournament titles.
