Aces Head into Olympic Break with 95-79 Road Win over Dallas

LAS VEGAS - Las Vegas (15-6) snapped a two-game losing skid Sunday afternoon upending the Dallas Wings (9-12), 95-79, behind A"ja Wilson's near triple-double (22 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists). The Aces head into the Olympic Break with the second best record in the WNBA, one-half game behind Seattle pending the outcome of their game this evening.

First Quarter (Dallas 20, Las Vegas 15)

Dallas went on an early 6-0 run, turning a 2-2 tie into an 8-2 advantage. Las Vegas made 4 of 17 shots in the quarter, while A'ja Wilson led all scorers with 9 points.

First Quarter (Las Vegas 48, Dallas 42)

Dallas led by 4, 32-28, with 5:29 remaining in the half, but Las Vegas went on a 9-0 run to take a 5-point lead, 37-32. Dearica Hamby (12 points) and Kelsey Plum (11) outscored the Wings by themselves, 23-22.

First Quarter (Las Vegas 76, Dallas 59)

Las Vegas used an 8-0 run late in the quarter to turn a nine-point lead into a 17-point advantage. Jackie Young went 4 for 4 from the field and made both free throws for a game-high 10 points in the quarter.

First Quarter (Las Vegas 95, Dallas 79)

The Aces' lead vacillated between 13 and 20 points the entire period. Arike Ogunbowale scored 5 points in the quarter giving her 10 for the game, and extending her streak of consecutive double-digit scoring efforts to 58 games.
