Aces & Broncos Series Canceled

August 14, 2008 - United League Baseball (ULB) - Alexandria Aces News Release

Alexandria, LA; August 14, 2008- The Alexandria Aces of United League Baseball (ULB) today announced their scheduled weekend series vs. the Laredo Broncos has been canceled and the team will now travel to Amarillo, Texas to play the Dillas in a three games series to end the regular season.

The Aces will begin their quest for a third straight ULB Championship title in San Angelo, TX versus the Colts on Monday, August 18, 2008 in a best of three series.

Tonight is Couvillion's Converter and Recycling Shirt Off Our Back Night along with Toyota Tundra Thirsty Thursday and Budweiser/Q93 Party on the Patio. Aces fans will have a chance to win a game worn shirt right off the back of their favorite player, in addition to drink specials all night long. The first 500 fans through the front gate will receive a 2008 team photo thanks to The Town Talk, KDBS and KSYL.
