Fargo Force News Release

Fargo Force founder and owner Ace Brandt passed away on October 16, 2021. A memorial hockey game will take place on October 29, 2021, in his honor.

Before the Fargo Force vs. Waterloo Blackhawks game on Friday, October 29 there will be a league-wide moment of silence in honor of Ace and his impact on the hockey community. The ceremony will also feature a video paying tribute to his life, and two new in-ice logos honoring Ace will be featured on the blue line. Two Force jerseys will be displayed on center ice: one from 2008, the year the Fargo Force was established, and the current season's jersey. Both will include Ace's name and '08 on the back. A third jersey will be framed and mounted in the Fargo Force locker room.

The Fargo Force and participating USHL teams will also wear helmets with "AB" stickers. The team will also wear "BRANDT" nameplates on Friday night and "AB" patches on all non-specialty jerseys for the duration of the season.
