Aberdeen Wings Sign Defenseman Joe Fenton to Tender

The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce the tender signing of Joe Fenton!

Fenton, from Metuchen, NJ, is a 6'3 185 lbs right shot defenseman who previously played for the New Jersey Rockets U18 AAA. Last season, he appeared in 57 games in which he had 3 goals, 16 assists, and 19 points overall.

"We are excited to announce the tender signing of Joe Fenton. Joe is a 6'3 right shot defender that plays for the powerhouse New Jersey Rockets U18 program. Joe is a smooth skating defender that makes simple plays and is physical. He will be a good fit here before moving on to play college hockey. We are really excited to have him be a part of our Aberdeen Wings Family" said Assistant Coach Eric Hirschhaut

In addition, Fenton has verbally committed to playing Division I Hockey at Union College!
