ABA CEO to offer Internet sales training
March 16, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. Joe Newman, ABA CEO, today announced that he will be providing sales training via the internet with a course called PeopleFirst Selling (www.peoplefirstselling.com). According to Newman, "Sales training has been a passion of mine for many years. I first developed and taught this course in the late '80s and early '90s and have been encouraged to bring it back and offer it via the internet. My wife Connie and I are producing the segments and have condensed the original 27 hour course to about 8-10 segments. We hope that people find it enjoyable and productive. PeopleFirst Selling works."
"Salespeople think they sell real estate, insurance, advertising, stocks, office equipment, etc," added Mrs. Newman. "In actuality, they are selling people real estate, insurance, advertising, stocks, office equipment. What Joe has done is to put the emphasis on the people to whom they sell. It should be a fun experience and it certainly is affordable on the internet."
Joining the Newmans on the marketing side of PeopleFirst Selling is Beryl Wolk, the founder of Beryl's World, (www.berylsworld.com), long considered to be one of the world's greatest marketers. "When Joe showed me the PeopleFirst course, I was stunned. I have been around sales trainers for several decades and know the best - PeopleFirst Selling is as good as it gets."
