
Aaron "Wild Man" Wilson back with the Rock in 2007

TORONTO - Aaron Wilson re-signed with the Toronto Rock this week to a one year contract. The 5'9" forward, acquired in 2002 as a free agent will return to the Rock for the upcoming 2007 season. Terms of the deal were not disclosed due to club policy.
"Aaron is a very important element of our offence and we look forward to him being a big contributor to the team's success this season", says Mike Kloepfer, Director of Lacrosse Operations for the Toronto Rock.
A native of Kitchener, Ontario, Wilson completed the 2006 regular season with 60 points, tallying 39 goals and 21 assists in sixteen regular season games. At the 2006 Hall of Fame game on Friday, February 24th, Wilson scored five goals, including the game-winner in overtime to lead the Rock in the 12-11 victory over the Philadelphia Wings. This performance named Wilson as the Overall NLL and Offensive player of that week.
Aaron says he is "looking forward to a great season working with the new coaching staff and to start working toward winning another Championship."
The Rock regular season begins on Saturday, January 13th, 2006 in Rochester against the Knighthawks.
