Aaron Harrison Assigned to Oklahoma City Blue from Charlotte

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Blue has been assigned guard Aaron Harrison from the Charlotte Hornets, pursuant to the NBA's flexible assignment system, the team announced today. The flexible assignment system allows NBA franchises not affiliated with an NBA D-League team to assign players to an NBA D-League team willing to accept the assigned player.

Harrison (6-6, 210) has seen action in 13 games with the Hornets, averaging 0.5 points in 4.2 minutes. In two seasons at the University of Kentucky, Harrison averaged 12.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals in 29.2 minutes.

In one game with the Blue this season, Harrison scored 11 points with three rebounds, three assists and one steal in 23 minutes.

The rookie is expected to be in uniform when the Blue visits the Bakersfield Jam on Tuesday at 9 p.m. CT.
