Abilene Prairie Dogs News Release
FORT WORTH - Abilene's marathon series with the Fort Worth Cats drew to an abrupt and rainy end on Sunday night. The finale of what was scheduled to be an 11-game series was postponed due to rain and will be rescheduled as part of a double header on Saturday, August 4.
The Cats defeated the Prairie Dogs on Saturday night, winning six of the 10 games played between the squads over the past 11 days. It was the second time this week that the Prairie Dogs and Cats were rained out at LaGrave Field.
Abilene will begin its longest home stand of the season by hosting McAllen at 7:05 on Monday in the first of a 6-game set. The Dogs split a four game series with the Thunder in Edinburg from June 5-8. Hear the game on 106.9 KLGD or on the internet at abileneprairiedogs.com beginning with the pregame show at 6:55.
