December 1, 2007 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Fargo-Moorhead Jets News Release
(Fargo, ND) - The Jets fell apart on the power-play only making minimal attempts and head into the break with a 6-2.
The first period started with a force as both teams fired shot after shot looking for anything to bounce their losing streak. Kyle Clement (Flower Mount, TX) redirected a shot from the point by Dustin Trail making 1-0 just over five minutes in. Brandon Bahnemann (Rochester, MN) put the Blizzard up 2-0 with: 39 remaining in the first on the power-play.
The second opened with another fluster of shots and still no scoring from the Jets and the scoreless streak would reach 85:00 until Joe Beaudette (Blaine, MN) found the back of the net on 5-3 advantage cutting the deficit 2-1, Alexandria. The Blizzard would add two more goals from Luke Nesper (Eagle River, WI) and Pawel Zurek (Poland) closing off the second with a commanding 4-1 lead.
Andrew Harrison (Temperance, WI) put away a loss rebound after Ryan Leets (Kentwood, MI) shoved aside four straight saves but couldn't clear the fifth on the man down. The 4-2 Blizzard lead would hold strong as Ian Guzzo (Two Harbors, MN) buried the empty thus sealing the victory. Alexandria would add another goal making it a 6-2 final ending their seven game losing skid and extending the Jets' to seven games.
