\'cats Look For Offense

The Bismarck Bobcats currently occupy the fourth and final playoff spot in the Central Division only one point in front of the FM Jets. Bismarck has battled through some tough droughts in the scoring department this season. The scoring department has been led by veterans Kyle Maggard (28) points and Joel Whited (25) points, the 'Cats announced today that they have made a trade for two more offense threats. Bismarck Forward Kurt Weston was traded to the Kenai River Brown Bears for twin brothers Jeffry and Kevin Harris. The two brothers have combined for 44 points in 28 games. Jeffry led the Brown Bears in scoring with 12 goals and 15 assist to go along with 14 penalty minutes. Kevin was fourth in scoring with 4 goals 13 assists for Kenai.

Bobcats Head Coach Byron Pool is looking forward to the arrival of the Harris twins. "We have had a tough time scoring this season and this was a good chance to get some more offense power. Jeffry led Kenai River in scoring while Kevin was 4th on the list." Pool said. "I'm looking for these two to possibly kick start our offense." Pool added. The Bobcats on the season have been outscored by their opponents 90 to 123. The Harris twins will wear a 'Cats jersey for the first time this Saturday night when Bismarck battles the best team in the NAHL the North Iowa Outlaws.
