
Action Packed Homestand Starts Friday

Tacoma, WA - Starting this Friday, Cheney Stadium will be the place to be for all the action as the Tacoma Rainiers kick off an event filled homestand versus division rival Colorado Spring Sky Sox. In addition to all the on-field excitement, Seahawks Night, Friday Night Fireworks, Salute to Armed Forces Day, Ladies' Day at the Ballpark and Long Lunch Monday will offer something for everyone.
Seahawks Night at the Tacoma Rainiers - Friday, May 8th at 7:00 pm.

Professional athletes from the gridiron and baseball diamond will team up this Friday as fans are invited to come celebrate Seahawks Night at the Rainiers. This Ultimate Night for the Ultimate Fan will start off with a bounty of pre-game autographs from Rainiers players, Seahawks star and Tacoma native Marcus Trufant and former Seahawk great Bobby Engram. You won't want to miss out on Rhubarb, Blitz and an on-field performance by the Blue Thunder. An appearance by the SeaGals will also sweeten the deal! Following all the Pigskin and Pastime fun, the skies will light up over Cheney Stadium with Friday Night Fireworks presented by Ohana Harbor Coffee. All of this great action for regular Rainiers ticket prices.
Salute to Armed Forces Day - Saturday, May 9th at 7:00 pm.
On Saturday, the Tacoma Rainiers will pay tribute those who serve our country and you can be part of letting those men and women know how much you honor their service. The Rainiers will be video taping your personal messages of thanks and support for a keepsake DVD being sent to troops serving around the world. The DVD will also be shown on the Pentagon Channel which broadcasts military news and information to 2.6 million members of the U.S. Armed Forces. The First Corps Command Honor Guard from Ft. Lewis will also be part of pregame ceremonies to pay homage to the five branches of the military and the Washington National Guard.
Tickets are going fast for this special night and the Rainiers are offering the special price of $5.00 for military members and their families.
Ladies' Day at the Ballpark - Sunday, May 10th at 1:30 pm.
Come out and celebrate Mother's Day in style with Ladies' Day at the Ballpark. The Rainiers have partnered up with the Savvy Girls of Summer and Savi Day Spa to offer up a full afternoon of pampering and relaxation. Round up family and friends for a casual day at the park. Ticket packages include special pregame activities including spa treatments by Savi Day Spa, a discussion panel, a free Saavy Girls of Summer scoring journal to the first 100 women, access to a private Party Deck for the entire game, all-inclusive food and drinks, early admission to watch batting practice as well as free game programs and autographs. This special package is only available for advanced purchase.
Long Lunch Monday - Monday, May 11th at 11:30 am.
After checking your email and making some phone calls in the morning, ease into your work week by grabbing lunch and catching a Rainiers game on Monday for the series finale with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. It will be your last chance to watch the Rainiers for 10 days before they head out on a long road trip.
