Wildcats Add Experience at the Quarterback Position

April 17, 2008, ALBANY, GA- The South Georgia Wildcats announced today that the af2 league office has assigned QB Andrico Hines to the Wildcats roster.

Last season Hines' consistent play led the Spokane Shock to the playoffs. He completed 64% of his passes for over 2,800 yards. Andrico tossed 62 touchdowns against only 8 interceptions. Hines should also be a familiar face to Wildcats fans. He started the final game of the Wildcats innaugural season in 2005 and passed for 207 yards and 4 touchdowns in his only start that year.

"Andrico put up solid numbers last year in Spokane and led his team to the playoffs," said Head Coach Derek Stingley. "With his experience and poised decision-making, we believe he can bring a much-needed spark to our offense right now."

Hines will once again be teaming up with wide receiver Antwone Savage. Last season the two connected for 40 toucdown passes forming one of the league's most productive quarterback and receiver tandems.
