Steamwheelers Game Against Iowa this Weekend To Air Tape Delayed On Mediacom Connections Channel 22

(Moline, Ill.) - The Quad City Steamwheelers and Mediacom have partnered together to air the Steamwheelers home game against the Iowa Barnstormers throughout Northern Illinois and the state of Iowa on its Connections channel. The game will air throughout the network on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Locally, the game will air on Connections Channel 22.

"We're delighted to bring this exclusive match up with the Steamwheelers and Barnstormers," said Cari Fenzel, Mediacom Regional Vice President. "This is a great opportunity for Mediacom to showcase the Quad City Steamwheelers to the state of Iowa and Northern Illinois. We look forward to a successful partnership with the Steamwheelers and a win this Saturday."

The Steamwheelers are 2-0 and are coming off its first victory in Louisville since 2003, while the Barnstormers lost in a close two-point battle at home against Lexington on Monday. The game also features the return of former ‘Wheeler Tim Dodge to the i wireless Center.

"We are excited to be able to broadcast a great rivalry throughout the Quad Cities and the region," said Shawn Brown, the Vice President/General Manager of the Quad City Steamwheelers. "We are expecting a great atmosphere during this game and we hope that fans will come out to catch the game and then watch themselves on TV on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday."

The game starts at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 19 and tickets to the game are currently on sale at the i wireless Center box office, TicketMaster outlets or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com.
