The official kickoff to the 2015-2016 season starts with the Niagara IceDogs 8th Annual Golf Classic presented by Creative Sign Works. The event will be held on Monday, August 31st at Thundering Waters Golf Club in Niagara Falls.
As the first major event of the hockey season, the Golf Classic gives IceDogs' fans and business partners the first opportunity to meet the players who will be competing for a spot on next season's roster.
Also, in previous years, many IceDogs' alumni have returned to participate in the tournament including Ryan Strome, Brett Ritchie, Mark Visentin, Andrew Agozzino, Alex Friesen and Jesse Graham among others.
With a month and a half to go before the event, there is still availability to golf ($200/person) or show your support as a hole sponsor ($400). All proceeds from the event will support the Niagara IceDogs Education Fund which provides current and former players with post-secondary educational opportunities.
