Ottawa 67's News Release

OTTAWA - USA Hockey has announced that Ottawa 67's forward Tyler Boucher has made the American national team's final roster, for the 2023 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship.

"We are extremely proud of Tyler's achievement," said 67's Assistant General Manager and Director of Scouting Jan Egert. "We are looking forward to watching him compete on the world stage."

Boucher, 19, has appeared in 15 games, thus far, during his second season with the 67's. The hulking forward has already matched his career high in points, scoring eight goals and six assists for 14 points.

The Haddonfield, New Jersey product was selected 10th overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.

Boucher joins a litany of 67's players and staff members, who will be taking part in this year's World Juniors. Defenceman Jack Matier will suit up for Team Canada, with the roster overseen by 67's General Manager James Boyd, and Strength and Conditioning Coach Sean Young also on the staff. Forward Vinzenz Rohrer will also be competing in the tournament, for Team Austria.
