Ottawa 67's News Release
OTTAWA, ON - The Ottawa 67's announced Wednesday that the hockey club has received a fourth-round draft pick from the Guelph Storm in exchange for veteran goaltender Liam Herbst.
"We have a really good goalie in (2014 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection) (Oliver) Lafreniere that needs to get up here and play, and he's been kind of pushed back because we've had two good goalies the last couple of years," said Ottawa 67's GM and Head Coach Jeff Brown. "Guelph is looking for help in the net and so this is a great opportunity for him (Herbst) to stay in the league and play a lot."
The 67's will hold a Development Camp June 11 and 12 at the University of Ottawa's Minto Sports Complex.
