
67's Hope Fans Will Sock it to Brampton

(Ottawa ON.)-The Ottawa 67's are requesting that fans bring a new pair(s) of sport socks to their game on Friday to donate to the Ottawa Mission. The Mission provides basic necessities such as food, shelter and clothing to those in need.
This is the 3rd annual 67's event to gather socks for the Mission, sponsored by Convergys. More than 5,000 pairs have been donated so far and the team hopes thousands more will be collected on Friday when the 67's host Brampton at the Civic Centre starting at 7:30 PM.
The game itself is a big one. Fresh off their victory over John Tavares and the London Knights last Sunday, the 67's take-on a Brampton team that has won 10 in a row with a lineup that features Cody Hodgson from Canada's World Junior Championship team. Hodgson has 31 goals and 63 points in 35 games with the Battalion this season. Tickets still available starting from $11.00 by linking from Ottawa67s.com.
