TULSA, OK - The Tulsa 66ers held off Rio Grande Valley Vipers for a 97-94 win at the SpiritBank Event Center behind 33 points and 10 rebounds from Oklahoma City Thunder assignee Jeremy Lamb.

Lamb, who was assigned to Tulsa on Thursday afternoon, is one of three Thunder players on Tulsa's roster. Fellow assignee DeAndre Liggins posted 12 points and nine boards and Daniel Orton scored 7 points with 10 rebounds.

Tulsa (3-0) had five players score double-digit numbers with Tony Taylor tallying 15 points and Dominique Sutton recording 12.

The Vipers (1-2) were led by Terrance Jones' 27 points and 16 rebounds along with 16 points from Scott Machado.

Rio Grande Valley got within two points on a layup by Saunders to make it 96-94 with 1:21 remaining in the fourth. The 66ers held off the Vipers in the final minute and sealed the game with a free throw by Lamb with 2.9 seconds left.

The Tulsa defense forced 18 RGV turnovers, including 12 on steals, while out-rebounding the Vipers 49-44.The 66ers had four players that dished out four or more assists, including five from Orton, to total 20 on the night.
