COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - The Colorado Springs Sky Sox Baseball Club welcomed 6,192 fans through the gates Friday night against Las Vegas and in the process set a new single-season attendance record for the second straight season. The 274,844 fans to enter Security Service Field in 2008 surpasses last year$B!G(Bs figure of 274,408 fans. The Sky Sox reached the record in just 62 openings and still have six more openings remaining in 2008 plus the attendance from the August 14th suspended game against Tucson which will be included in the season total following the doubleheader on August 26th.
