5 RBI Effort from Newman Highlights PaddleHeads' Win
August 14, 2022 - Pioneer League (PL)
Missoula PaddleHeads News Release
Boise, ID- Offensive success in the early innings has been a big factor for the Missoula PaddleHeads in action opposite the Boise Hawks this week. In game 2 from Memorial Stadium on Saturday night that trend would continue thanks in large part to Jayson Newman.
Missoula would jump on Boise in the first three innings taking an 6-1 advantage in that stretch. After the top of the sixth, the PaddleHeads would also be well out in front leading 11-1. That would prove to be plenty of offensive support for the PaddleHeads bullpen coming to the finish line as they would once again hold off the Hawks down the stretch in an 11-5 win.
