Marek Alscher had a productive first season with the Winterhawks after being selected in the first round of the 2021 CHL Import Draft. The rookie defenseman produced 16 points in 61 games and quickly became known for his work in the defensive zone. With a 6-foot-3, 195-pound frame, the Kladno, Czechia native has caught the eye of many NHL scouts and has the right tools to hear his name called at the 2022 NHL Draft.
