As a part of the celebrations, the 2022 Memorial Cup presented by Kia will not only be at the arena, but all over the historic uptown core of Saint John with the One for All District.
Walking distance from the arena, excellent restaurants, and the waterfront, the One for All District will come alive with music, food, entertainment, and more, all to showcase Saint John's diversity, equity, and inclusion and embody the theme of 'One for All'!
You won't want to miss out on the action during the six fun-filled days with activities planned for all! Keep reading to find out more:
Saturday June 18th: Youth Day - 12 PM - 1 AM
We kick off the One for All District with Youth day which is a dedicated day to celebrate the future of the city, the youth, with a jam packed day of family friendly activities. Get involved and excited about the Memorial Cup with recurring events like Mini Hockey, Paint the Streets, Street Yoga, Skills Competitions and many more! Join us to kick off the One for All district with a bang!
Music will be provided by The Backstays (8-9 PM) and What the Funk (9-10:30 PM).
Sunday June 19th: Father's Day - 12 PM - 7 PM
After Youth Day, we will be celebrating Father's Day in the streets with a BBQ themed party! With BBQ Ribfest, Golf greens, and Craft Beer vendors, it's sure to be a Happy Father's Day all around. It will be fun for the whole family with recurring activities in the district like Street Hockey, live entertainment on stage, and more! Join us for a day of celebration and fun for all ages before the tournament starts on the 20th!
Thursday June 23rd: LGBTQ2+ Day - 5 PM - 11 PM
Thursday marks Game Four of the Memorial Cup, when you can come celebrate LGBTQ2+ Day! The district will come to life with energy, with a guest host, drag show from 7:30-9 PM, DJ, photo booth, and lots of fun surprises. You won't want to miss this day of celebration of the diversity that makes Saint John beautiful!
Friday June 24th: Francophone Night - 5 PM - 10 PM
Come join the party Friday for Francophone Night where we will highlight the French culture in all different communities! Acadian, Quebecois, and French speaking newcomers will all be celebrated as we recognize la Francophonie and all its forms!
What's better than poutine? Poutine with CHL alumni! Make your way to the One for All district as three former Sea Dogs taste test dishes from local restaurants to judge who makes the best poutine in the city once and for all! With even more activities including Street Hockey, live entertainment, vendors and events, we are excited to bring together our French communities.
Live entertainment will be provided by Moyenne Rig from 6-7 PM, Phil Athanase from 7-8 PM, and Tradition from 8-9 PM.
Sat June 25th: Maritime Day - 12 PM - 11 PM
Kick the weekend off right on Saturday celebrating Maritime day with fun for all! The One for All district will come alive, celebrating the east coast lifestyle, and showing any visitors from around the country how the Maritimes can throw a party. With live music, street games, Moosehead, and a Sea Dogs v. the QMJHL viewing party in the streets, it will be a Maritime Party of all!
Live entertainment will be provided by Kings County BRR from 8-9 PM and Jamie Comeau & The Crooked Teeth from 9-11 PM.
Sunday June 26th: Multicultural Day - 12 PM - 6 PM
Sunday June 26th marks the end of the One for All district with Multicultural day, going from 12 PM - 6 pm we will have family fun activities, with street games, building projections, vendors, and a human library, we want to celebrate the diversity of our community with you!
