2019 United Bowl Game Preview
Phoenix - The Arizona Rattlers (15-0) are one win away from capturing their seventh World Championship and their first undefeated season in the franchise's 27 seasons of operation. The only obstacle standing in Arizona's path to another United Bowl title is the visiting Sioux Falls Storm (13-3).
The Rattlers and Storm have met in the postseason in each of the last three seasons. Arizona defeated Sioux Falls 50-41 in the 2017 United Bowl inside the Denny Sanford Premier Center to give them their sixth championship banner. They faced off last year in the Intense Conference Championship at Talking Stick Resort Arena with the Storm winning 69-68 in overtime.
This United Bowl will feature the two most storied programs in the Indoor Football League (IFL). The Rattlers have been represented in the championship game seven of the last nine seasons dating back to when they were still a part of the Arena Football League (AFL).
For the Sioux Falls Storm, Saturday will mark their tenth straight United Bowl appearance. They are also seeking their first championship since winning six consecutive titles from 2011-2016.
