2019-2020 All-MASL Rookie Team Goalkeeper Re-Signs with the Outlaws for Next Two Seasons

(MESQUITE, TEXAS) The Mesquite Outlaws have announced Goalkeeper Eduardo "Pollo" Cortes has re-signed for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 MASL seasons. This will be Cortes's second season with the Outlaws. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Cortes had a great Rookie season with the Outlaws, earning him a spot in the 2019-2020 ALL-MASL ROOKIE TEAM. Cortes ended the season with an ankle injury but has recovered and is currently training during the off season. Cortes had 225 saves this past season, "I'm excited to be back for another two years! I'm looking forward to continuing my career here in Mesquite to build on my rookie year and help be a foundation to build a winning organization in the near future!" Cortes said.

Our coaching staff is very pleased to have Pollo re-sign with the Outlaws "Pollo is such a talented player, he had a successful first season in the league. We are piecing the puzzle pieces together, to make a team that will have successful long term organization in Mesquite." Tatu said.
