B.C. Lions News Release
(Vancouver) Christmas has come early for BC Lions fans with the release of the 2018 CFL schedule this morning.
For the Leos, it's definitely a winner as the club will play six of its nine home games on Saturdays in 2018 with two others on Friday nights and one Thursday night tilt.
The Lions also announced that after an incredible response to recent ticket promotions over the past two seasons for kids 12 and under, a new kid's season membership will be available starting at just $85 all-in and includes complimentary membership in the popular BC Lions Kids Club.
"Having next year's schedule released this early makes this a very exciting day for our fans and for the club," said BC Lions VP, Business George Chayka . "We're pleased to be able to keep Saturday as our primary day for home games and the addition of a full season membership for kids makes taking the entire family to games that much easier."
With three bye-weeks now part of the schedule in 2018, the Lions get things started early with Montreal coming west to open the regular season on Saturday, June 16.
The Leos then host West Division foes in their next three games: Winnipeg (July 14), Edmonton (August 9) and Saskatchewan (August 25), before a tour by East Division clubs: Ottawa (September 7), Hamilton (September 22) and Toronto (October 6).
The Orange and Black wrap up 2018 with two home games in the final three weeks of the season against Edmonton (October 19) and Calgary (November 3). In total, Lions will be at home five times after Labour Day.
Fans will get their first look at the 2018 Lions as they take on Winnipeg at home in the preseason on Friday, June 8.
BC Lions season memberships for 2018 are available now. New and renewing season members save as much as 29% on single game tickets while also receiving numerous membership benefits.
